A High-Stakes Meeting: How Do You Find Confidence Before a Big Conversation?

I worked with my client Lindsay just before an incredibly important meeting. She was about to sit down with her co-owner to discuss the future of their company—a conversation that was particularly sensitive given the conflicts they’d had in the past. Lindsay was feeling really nervous and unsure about how to approach it.

During our one-hour coaching session, we focused on helping her clarify exactly what she wanted to achieve from the meeting. We talked through what key messages she wanted to communicate, how to stay centered during tough conversations, and what her ultimate goal was for the company moving forward. By the end of our session, Lindsay walked away feeling much clearer and more confident in her approach. She had a plan for what she wanted to take out of

the meeting and the message she needed to deliver. No more vague new year’s resolutions. Here is what we did instead I had a coaching session with my client, Beth, right before the new year, and we worked on setting some powerful resolutions for the year ahead. Instead of just focusing on typical

resolutions like “get fit” or “save more money,” we dug deeper into what truly mattered to Beth this year—what she wanted to accomplish in both her personal and professional life.

We started by breaking down her biggest priorities and setting intentional, realistic goals for each. We also discussed the obstacles that might get in the way and how she could navigate them. By the end of our session, Beth walked away with a clear, actionable plan that was grounded in her values and long-term vision. No more vague resolutions—just solid goals with a strategy to match.

Deadlines and Family Visits: A Recipe for Stress or Success?

One of my clients, Rachel, was preparing for a super busy month ahead. She had a pile of deadlines at work, with no coaching or support provided by her company, and on top of that, family was visiting, adding even more to her already full plate. It was clear she was about to be stretched too thin, and the stress was starting to weigh on her. In our coaching session, we focused on helping her process the overwhelm, gain a sense of control, and prioritize what really mattered. We talked through her responsibilities, broke down tasks into manageable steps, and made sure she had time to breathe amidst the chaos. By the end of our session, Rachel had a concrete plan in place for tackling her priorities without sacrificing her mental wellbeing.
